Patriotic Kerchief

I won a skein of yarn that is from Knit Picks-Andean Silk in Campfire and didn't know what I'd do with it. Well, my grandmother is very Patriotic and wears a lot of Red, White & Blue stuff. So I knitted this kerchief, she can wear it on her neck or on her head. This was about the 12th project I tried making with the yarn. I am very happy with it. It took about 85 yards to make.

Please can you send me the pattern for your "Patriotic Kerchief"?
I had a similar one but have mis-placed it somewhere. Just when summer is coming, wouldn't you know?

Thank you,

Many thanks for the Patriotic Kerchief pattern - renamed as Kari's Kerchief.

It was only a rumour that summer was coming I'm afraid. But I will save the pattern until the temperature rises again and the sun comes out. If I don't drown by then.
Hmmmm ... I wonder how the kerchief would look if it was knitted up in plastic bag yarn? (It would look silly I expect - and the water would drip down one's neck. Oh well.)

Thank you again,
Janey
