My pirate name is:
Mad Mary Bonney
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

Not much accomplished
Not much to report. I had to rip out the Mystery Shawl and now I'm starting it in a different yarn. I got it off Ebay but I'm not sure what the yarn is. When I have a clue done, I'll post a pic. I also started the Halloween Mystery shawl. Wow, is all I have to say. There's a pattern on both sides (the shawls I've done so far have been knit or purled on the "wrong" side) and it takes forever! There are also beads incorporated so that takes a little more time. I didn't string the 400 beads on. I figured it would be too much for the lace weight and break in areas. So I'm doing the crochet hook thing. Also, the yarn I wanted to use hasn't shown up yet so I started with a purple Super Lamb from http://www.sarahsyarns.com. I don't know if I'm happy with it, I know I have a few mistakes so, I think I'll start frogging it. I only have 28 rows done and I think it took me 6 hours. LOL

Mystery Shawl from Goddess Knits
Here is the end of clue #1 of the Mystery Shawl (link on the sidebar). The first picture shows the first 59 rows and the color. The second picture show the pattern a little better-it'll look fantastic once blocked. I'm using Red Heart Luster Sheen (acrylic) in peach. My hubby told me that I needed to use up some of my stash and that was the closest thing to sport weight and autumn colors I have. Come, join the Mystery!

Wall Waves Bookmark
I had the honor of being the designer of the Sept 7, bookmark KAL for Monthly Bookmarks KAL Yahoo Group. Wall Waves was an inspiration after having a very active day with my kids and I was just staring at the walls. My walls are textured and I found an edging pattern as I was flipping through one of my knitting books that matched the wall texture, which became the Wall Waves bookmark.
This pattern, along with many others, is available in the "files" section of the group.

Monthly Dishcloth Exchange
I also did an exchange with the Dishcloth group. I sent to Jalia and received from Nicole. Here's the rooster dishcloth I sent, my design.
There was a minor malfunction with my puffy from Nicole and she felt so bad she sent me all of this!! I think I forgot to add the candle she sent in the pic. Thank you!!
